Hurricanes Wins Back-To Back Championships

Marvin Sukhnandan dominant performance with the bat help secure another championship for Hurricanes Cricket Club when they defeated Hustlers Cricket Club by 63 runs under the lights at Tamarac Sports Complex earlier this evening in SFSCL 2015 Fall Season Division One championship . Marvin opening the batting after they were sent in to bat by Hustlers scored an aggressive 98.

With the score at 117/1 at the 13th over break , Hurricanes was well positioned to for a huge score. Marvin returned after the break and stepped up the pressure on the Hustlers bowlers scoring at rate of over 11 runs per over . Hurricanes went on to score an additional 134 runs in the final 12 overs to end their inning at 251/6 in their allotted 25 overs.

The Hustlers chase stutter from the start as the lost two early wickets with only 20 runs on the board. The middle order lead by Stevenson Taylor and Keshan Budhna tried to repair the early damaged, however, it was not an easy task as the already high run-rate keep climbing with every dot ball bowled. Taylor went on to score an attractive half century but that was not enough without any significant contribution from the other batsman.

Hustlers 188/10 (24.2 overs)
