After winning the toss Warriors without hesitation took first strike at Tamarac Recreation Park on a grass wicket that have produced mixed results in the pass. The opening pair Faizul Baksh and Safraz Gafur put on a decent opening partnership as the Diamond 2 bowlers struggled to find a good line and length. Faizul went on the score a workman like 88 which included eight boundaries. Mahase Bissoon made amend for he poor performance in their first game with a blistering 60 which included three boundaries and 3 sixes to help Warriors post 211 in their allotted 25 overs .

In reply to the 211 posted by Warriors , Diamond 2 batsmen for it difficult to bat on the grass wicket and the continue to loose wickets at regular interval. The veteran Diamond player Kem Persaud was the only bright spot in their inning which lasted only 12.4 overs.
